Fullstack Engineer

## The Role

We're hiring a **Fullstack Engineer** to own features end to end across the apps that thousands of people open every day to practice speaking. You'll move between our iOS and Android mobile apps, the Remix web app, the data models and APIs behind them, and the admin CMS our content team uses to run the app. This is a role for someone who ships fast and keeps things simple.

## What You'll Do

- Own features from data model to shipped UI across mobile and web
- Build and maintain our React Native mobile apps and Remix web app
- Design the APIs and data models the whole product leans on
- Keep the admin CMS sharp so our coaches and content team can move without filing tickets
- Make pragmatic calls that favor simplicity, because a small team can't afford cleverness for its own sake

## What We're Looking For

- 3+ years as a full-stack engineer on React-based web, mobile, or desktop apps
- Strong with React, React Native, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript practices
- You work fast and reach for the simplest thing that holds up
- Comfortable owning a feature end to end rather than waiting for a spec

## Strong Advantages

- You keep up with LLM-assisted development and actually use the tools
- You've shipped and maintained apps in the app stores, not just prototyped them
- Experience with audio, speech, or real-time feedback in a consumer app

## Location

New York, NY. The team is in the office at least three days a week in downtown NYC.
