Senior Engineer (Typescript/React)

## The Role

We're hiring a **Senior Engineer (TypeScript/React)** to build a better and faster way for software teams to report and fix bugs. You'll ship sizeable features in a couple of weeks, from idea to in-production, and you'll feel the impact in the metrics and in the clips of users asking for exactly what you just built. This is a role for someone who moves fast and still writes code the next person can live with.

## What You'll Do

- Build a better way for software teams to capture and communicate bugs, from the browser extension to the web app to the services behind them
- Take sizeable features from idea to production in weeks, not quarters
- Move fast, and spend the extra bit of thought up front that keeps the codebase shippable six months later
- Delight users; the impact of your work is tangible enough that you'll often watch a clip of someone asking for the feature before you write it
- Dogfood Jam daily, and let what you feel using it shape where the product goes

## What We're Looking For

- 5+ years building software, with real depth in a modern frontend
- You dig into technical problems and communicate them clearly across functions
- You see the bigger picture: how your piece lands for users and fits the whole product
- You run quick sprints without trading away quality or scope

## Strong Advantages

Nice-to-haves, not strict requirements.

- Deep React and TypeScript across a real production codebase
- Browser-extension work, or anything where state has to stay in sync across surfaces
- Comfort reaching into the backend (Node, GraphQL) when a feature needs it end to end

## The Stack You'd Touch

React with Styled Components on the frontend, TypeScript across the extension, web app, and backend, GraphQL for the API, MobX state tree to sync state across the Chrome extension, Cloudflare Workers at the edge, and Node, Postgres, and Redis on Google Cloud with Kubernetes.

## Your Teammates

Senior ICs who love the craft, a few ex-engineering-directors who went back to building, and early Cloudflare engineers and PMs. Serious about the customers, the product, and the team, and not that serious about much else.

## Location

Remote in the US, with in-person time in San Francisco if you want it.
