Senior QA Engineer

## The Role

We're hiring a **Senior QA Engineer** to own the end-to-end testing strategy for the Rentsync platform. You'll build and maintain automated test suites in Playwright and TypeScript across our web products and our AI-driven conversational leasing tools, and you'll be the person who decides what good enough looks like before something ships to the property managers and leasing teams who run their day on us.

## What You'll Do

- Own the end-to-end testing strategy across our web platform and our AI conversational leasing products
- Build and maintain automated Playwright suites in TypeScript that catch regressions before a customer does
- Decide where automation earns its keep and where a human pass is still the right call; you set the bar, not just run someone else's checklist
- Partner with engineering and product so quality is designed in, not bolted on at the end of a sprint
- Dig into the hard cases: flaky tests, race conditions, the AI flows that don't behave the same way twice

## What We're Looking For

- Senior-level QA experience owning strategy, not just executing test plans someone handed you
- Hands-on fluency with Playwright and TypeScript for automated end-to-end testing
- Judgment about what to automate, what to explore manually, and how to tell a real bug from noise
- Clear communication; you can explain to a PM why something isn't ready without turning it into a fight

## Strong Advantages

- Experience testing AI-driven, conversational, or non-deterministic products
- A background in a complex multi-product web platform where test coverage had to scale with the team
- Comfort reading the code under test, not just the UI on top of it
