Bring your open roles and the candidates already in them. Map a spreadsheet once, import, and everyone lands at the stage they were already in.
Migrating to Nexus is an afternoon task, not a quarter-long project. You export all your jobs and the candidates on them, map the columns once, and import. Every job comes across with its pipeline, and every candidate lands at the stage they were already in, so your hiring keeps its shape from day one.
Greenhouse, Lever, Workable, Ashby, a spreadsheet — whatever you're on, export your open jobs and the candidates on them to CSV. Every ATS can do this, and it's the one thing you already know how to do.
Tell Nexus which column is the job, which is the candidate's name and email, and which stage each candidate is in. You map it once per file, and the mapping is yours to reuse for the next export.
Nexus rebuilds each job with its stages and places every candidate at the stage you mapped, so someone in your final round shows up in your final round. Re-running the same file is safe: anyone already there comes back marked a duplicate, not a second copy.
About as hard as exporting a spreadsheet and mapping its columns. You export your open jobs and the candidates on them from Greenhouse, Lever, or whatever you're on to CSV, tell Nexus which column is the job, the candidate's name and email, and the stage, then import. Every job keeps its pipeline and every candidate lands at the stage they were already in.
No. The whole point of the import is to bring your in-flight pipeline with you. A candidate who was in your final round in your old ATS shows up in your final round in Nexus. Nobody restarts at the top of the funnel.
No. The import is a mapped CSV, which is a job for the recruiter who knows the roles, not a technical project. If you can export a spreadsheet from your current tool, you can run it.
The import places each candidate at their current stage. Where you want the earlier stages a candidate already cleared on the record too, Nexus can note those as completed history without putting phantom interviews or reminders on anyone's calendar. Scorecards and private notes from your old system stay there; the candidate record and its current position are what come across.
Honestly, it depends on how many roles and candidates you're bringing and how clean your export is — so we won't quote you a number we haven't earned on your data. A single role with a tidy CSV is minutes. For early customers we'll sit on the call and run your import with you, so the move is never something you face alone.
Resume files and attachments don't travel inside a CSV, so candidates re-upload them in their portal or you attach them afterward. Scorecards and internal notes from your previous ATS stay in that system. And very large pipelines import in batches of up to 200 at a time, so a high-volume role comes over in a few passes rather than a single click.
